BEER REVIEW – [Flying Dog] Raging Bitch Belgian IPA

Holy Banana-Bubblegum Diablo Yeast!

I think the name of this beer is half the fun.  Raging Bitch, there’s no mistaking it for any other brew.  For how long will this beer continue to have such an awesome name in today’s [getting more and more] politically correct obsessed world?? Who knows – but for right now, it’s still Raging Bitch – in all its glory.

Here’s what Flying Dog Brewery has to say about this beer:

“The American IPA hoppiness or Belgian funk of Raging Bitch can be brought out with food. Flavor notes: Sweet malt body contrasted with pine and grapefruit hop flavors and exotic fruit yeast notes. Pairs with: Wasabi, ginger, jerk, Cajun, or cayenne; tangy cheese with fruit; dark chocolate”

I was really pleasantly surprised how many layers this beer has to it, each sip brought me deeper and deeper down its rabbit hole of flavors.  Hops are cool, but using hops in addition to other notes that truly shine as well – now that’s a good damn beer symphony.  Everyone loves beer symphonies.

Until next time, watch the video above and enjoy some tasty Raging Bitch magic!
