BEER REVIEW – [Barrier Brewing Co] Jump In The Line

Double The Dry Hops, Double The Fun!

Finally I get to put my money where my mouth is and drink (and review) as local as possible with Jump In The Line by Barrier Brewing Co. (which is only 15 minutes away from my house!).  Barrier comes out with a lot of delicious IPAs and this was no exception.  I’m not sure exactly how far their distribution goes, but if you can track down some Barrier, I’d highly recommend giving it a try.

Here’s what Barrier Brewing Co. has to say about this beer (via Instagram as there was no info on the website):

“Jump In The Line IPA double dry hopped with copious amounts of Citra, Simcoe, Calypso and Citra lupulin powder. Brewed in collaboration with our homies Magnify Brewing”

It’s important to note that this beer is a collaboration with Magnify Brewing Company out of (fairly nearby) NJ.  Barrier does a lot of collabs (which I love, and which seems to be a popular trend among many downstate NY breweries right now) and this joint venture was a home run.  I’ve never had any Magnify beer before but I definitely intend to now!

Until next time, watch the video above and let me know what you think about Barrier, IPAs, or jumping into lines in the comments below!
